Mr. Reynolds:

 Again, in the recent e-mail from Mr. Payer, it is indicated that the error rate for the batch blood test for ploidy for triploid grass carp is 2.5%.  This means that the overall average error rate is 2.5%.  This does not mean that the error rate on every batch that is tested is 2.5%.  Depending on many external factors, the error rate may greatly exceed 2.5% or it may be considerably less than 2.5%.  The 2.5% is an average error rate.
