Mr. Johannes,

Are you saying that before you will license my ponds for turtles or mussels I will need to install overflows, encircle my entire pond system with a ditch and dike and build a 6 foot deep 2.5 acre dry pond  that I cannot use as directed by Mr. Goeman?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Reynolds:

We have reviewed your license and do not feel that it is incorrect.

If you are referring to the licensing of the ponds east of Rebel Road for nonindigenous species, these ponds are approved for indigenous species only until a secondary barrier system is set up.  Mr. Goeman has recently provided you with recommendations from our MN DNR Engineering staff on how to modify the design of your ponds so that nonindigenous species approval can take place.

If you are referring to adding turtle or mussel species, we are still waiting to receive the additional information from you that we requested.  The approval of these species will also be based on the secondary barrier system being in place.

If there are other issues, please provide me with more specifics in why you feel your license is incorrect.

Mr. Johannes,

After many months of waiting my license is still incorrect.  This is consistent with my experience with Fisheries but I would still like a correct license.

Sincerely,
